Geo-tagging fruit trees – Berkeley, CA

Here’s a screen shot of an portion of Berkeley, where I’ve geo-tagged any interesting fruit trees growing on the street, in peoples yards, etc. and inserted them into Google Earth.There’s a lot of Persimmon, Citrus, Apple, Loquat and some Fig, Pear, Pomegranate and Avocado.

There’s a lot more documenting to be done. Please excuse me if your fruit tree is on the image below…

    Awesome idea and one that we should follow here in Australia. I know where all of the feral fruit and nut trees are in our area and I discovered an old orchard not so long ago that was totally abandoned…must remember to go back come apple season 😉
