Erythroxylaceae, Erythroxylon spp. – Jalisco, Mexico
April 20, 2012
This is an Erythroxylon species from the dry tropical forests of Jalisco, Mexico. Unfortunately there were no flowers or fruit to photograph. The species is as of yet unknown to me. Any input or leads would be appreciated. Here’s a previous post on Erythroxylon ipadu, or more commonly known as coca.

If you tell me where exactly you took the pics , I can check later for flowers and fruit.
I live in Puerto Vallarta and have my rarefruit collection in Las Juntas y Los Veranos
Hi Luc,
I don’t remember exactly where it was, but I was down the coast a ways near Careyes. How’s your nursery going? The trees I got from you last year are doing great. I’ve planted many of them in the ground.
