I got more detail photos of this Aristolochia species I posted on previously. Here are better shots of the seed pod, leaf and flower. One reader suggested it might be A. taliscana. Any verifications would be greatly appreciated…

    Very beautiful! Looking at the flower, I think it is an unusual form or hybrid of A. taliscana. Maybe others can confirm this suggestion, we now have a new group called “Aristolochia” on FB (just in case you want to get in touch with other people interested in this genus…).
    Do you have seeds to spare? I would be very interested in this one!

    Thanks for the comment and your thoughts on the ID. I go relatively frequently to the area of Mexico where I photographed this so I will be sure to collect some seed next time I see It and can get in touch with you. For clarification, you mentioned a new aristolochia group on “FB”… What does FB stand for? I’d be interested to check it out.
