This tree can reach heights of 30 m. The fruit are ovoide, yellow or orange in color. The
pulp contains white latex, characteristic of Sapotaceous fruits. It has an apricot taste and is used in making juices and jams.

    Also called African Abricot , I have 2 in the ground , dead slow growing ……wondering if it is worth the wait…did you try it ?
