Hillside, floral composition

A photo taken from a ridge, looking at a hillside, showing the dominant floral composition of the coastal landscape on the Sea of Cortez side of Northern Baja sur. Here we are looking primarily at Cercidium microphyllum (Palo Verde, blooming), numerous Bursera species, and Pachycereus pringlei (Cardon cactus, in the bottom half of the photo), and, to a lesser extent a host of other cacti and shrubs.
